MI Senior Advisor Dr. Michael Bunch has been nominated for the office of Vice President/President Elect of the National Council on Measurement in Education.

On May 31 and June 1, MI hosted a School Safety Summit in partnership with the New York State Education Department (NYSED) Office of Student Support Services. Nearly 650 school administrators and staff, school resource officers, and safety team members attended the two-day event at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany.
MI participated in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Automated Scoring Challenge sponsored by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). NAEP is a gold-standard, nationally representative assessment known as Sbobet Nation’s Report Card.” To date, all NAEP constructed response items have been handscored. The purpose of the Challenge was to determine whether automated scoring models could perform well with a representative subset of grade 4 and 8 NAEP Reading constructed response items.
